Topic Proposal

The subject that I want to argue is that high school should have a later start time. Many students have trouble waking up for high school. It is also proven that one's brain is more productive at 10 am rather than 8 am. Kids would be more attentive in class and would also not fall asleep in their classes. The reason that I am intrigued to speak about this topic is because I was personally effected by the early start time of high school in many ways. There are many resources that I can use such as surveys, brain productivity research/experiments, and even my own survey's that I can conduct. In addition to all of those, there are various resources on the internet that I can find which would help me to argue the fact that high school should have a later start time.

Speech 2 - What does this assignment want me to do?

This final assignment is asking me to make a speech about a topic of my choice. We are supposed to pick a problem that we feel strongly about for whatever reason and come up with the best solution for it. In the speech, we need to cover many points such as why our solution is the best way to fix the problem. Furthermore, we need to have a visual aid to go along with our presentation, along with references and a reference sheet.

How my review could effect my paper

My review on Kayla's paper made me think about how I can apply some of the things I told her to my own paper. I feel that I can also be more concise. I also feel that I could do a better job in connecting my thoughts to the idea as a whole.
